South Carolina Drug Card, powered by United Networks of America, Presents Donation to Greenville Health System Children’s Hospital
On March 8, 2019, Miranda Mendel, South Carolina Drug Card representative, presented a check to the Greenville Health System Children’s Hospital. Lindsay Bridges, Children’s Miracle Network Manager, was pleased to receive the check donation in the amount of $16,352.15.
Following the presentation, Miranda had the honor of receiving a tour of the hospital to learn about the ocean theme throughout, including several aquariums and a room with snacks, toys & video games for the families and children. Each time a prescription is processed through the South Carolina Drug Card a donation will be given to your local CMN hospital.
Since 2015, the United Networks of America partnership with Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals has raised over $2.4 million dollars for local children’s hospitals. Of this, $16,352.15 has been raised for Greenville Health System Children’s Hospital.

South Carolina Drug Card, Powered by United Networks of America, Presents Donation to MUSC Shawn Jenkins Children’s Hospital
On July 10, 2018, Norrene Bacher, South Carolina Drug Card representative, presented a check to MUSC Shawn Jenkins Children’s Hospital. Mimi Dorman, Corporate Relations Manager (l), and John Sion, MUSC Health Senior Projects Manager (r), were pleased to receive the check donation in the amount of $5,220.45.
This check presentation was a special one, as a new Hospital is under construction and will open next year. In an effort to continue to raise funds for the construction & increase awareness of the South Carolina Drug Card and CMN relationship, Mimi has asked Norrene to bring pharmacy staff to tour the new Hospital. Mimi and Norrene will continue to work together on other initiatives throughout the year to bring attention to the new Hospital and the partnership between South Carolina Drug Card and Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals.

South Carolina Drug Card Presents Donation to Palmetto Health Children’s Hospital
On May 15th, Michael Bell, South Carolina Drug Card Representative, presented a check to the Palmetto Health Children’s Hospital. Lynn Hazel, Director, Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals, was pleased receive the check donation in the amount of $8,484.55.
After the presentation, Lynn gave Michael a tour of the hospital. Michael was truly impressed by the seemingly endless innovative services that are provided to the children to make their hospital experience easier to endure. Michael and Lynn discussed future plans to further strengthen the bond between Palmetto Health Children’s Hospital and South Carolina Drug Card.

South Carolina Drug Card and United Networks of America Present Donation to McLeod Children's Hospital
On May 10th, Norrene Bacher, South Carolina Drug Card Representative, presented a check to McLeod Children’s Hospital. Davis Sawyer, McLeod Children’s Hospital Fund Manager, was pleased to receive the check donation in the amount of $4,088.65.
After the presentation, Norrene toured the hospital and was invited by Davis to participate in McLeod’s Rock For Kids fundraising concert in August.
